Small Groups

We were never meant to do life on our own. That’s why our Small Groups exist – to make life-giving friendships relevant and accessible to you. Whether you’re meeting digitally or in person, our Small Groups make it easy to get connected no matter your season of life!

LIFE IS BETTER WHEN WE DO IT TOGETHER.

Three Steps to Finding Your Group:

1. Pick an area of interest

Choose from a variety of options from location, interest, and schedule to find the Group that’s right for you.

2. Sign-up

Submit your information and your Group Leader will contact you shortly with more details.

3. Show up

Once a Group Leader contacts you with all the details you need to know, show up and experience why life is better connected!

  • What is a Small Group?
Small Groups is groups of 15 to 20 people that will be meeting in-person or online via Zoom to learn more about the Bible, grow in their faith, and meet some great new friends.
  • Is there a Group that’s right for me?
There are many groups to choose from this semester. There are a variety of groups that meet at different times and almost every day of the week, so you’ll have the chance to find the group that is right for you. And you'll have the opportunity to meet others who share your experiences and are going through similar things as you right now.
  • What kind of Small Groups are offered?
We offer Sermon Based and Interest Groups. · Sermon Based: Along with fellowship, they provide an opportunity to dive deeper into the sermon preached that week through group discussion and questions. · Interest: Built around fellowship, a group of people linked by a common interest or purpose.
  • Is childcare provided during Small Groups?
We have fun, high-energy classes for kids birth thru 5th grade during the 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. Sunday services through our MAG Kids Ministry where they can also grow in their relationship with Jesus.
  • What happens when I sign up?
When you sign up, the leader of your Group will contact you and introduce themselves and provide the details for your group meeting, the date and time you’ll be starting and all the other information you’ll need to have a great experience.
  • When will my group meet?
Our Small Groups meet once a week or bi-weekly, and each meeting is just sixty to ninety minutes long. Groups meet 10-12 times over the semester. It’s a short-term commitment but the positive impact on your life will be long-term.
  • What will the people in my group be like?
Small Groups are made up of people who attend Marlton Assembly every week. There is great diversity in our church - which makes our Small Groups so much fun! You'll meet some new people as well as probably reconnect with others you met at a Marlton service or event. Small Groups are a safe and fun way to connect with others and meet some wonderful people!
